What is WAT?

dont get me wrong, this is my study for my subject at school of architecture.

Temples in Thailand is called WAT..

It is actually is 'vat'=school..

So, basicly, in buddhist it is a structure for the lesson or
what we've called now is a place for worship.

Wat is mainly divided by two,

• religious function
•  and only for living quartes for monks (biarawan or rahib,)
